Mac Meeting Minutes

We started the afternoon with a social time. Members brought holidays goodies to share.

The meeting was actually started at 2:30 p.m. by President, Bobbie Batchelder.

Jean Amico has 2 used computers for sale. Contact her for additional info and prices.

Tucker Culver, Treasurer, announced that yearly dues are due in January. Dues are $12 for each member including their family. Winter vistors can pay a prorated fee for the months they are here if they wish. In the past, the money has been used for raffle prizes, donations for young Mac users to participate in state and national competitions and to donate to the church to help with the electricity that we use, especially in the summer. All larger sums of money are voted on by the group.

Our Christmas tree is in the museum again this year. It was decorated by Pam Short and Carol Ruetter with computer type stuff.

Bobbie introduced our new member Jim Hensley and visitor Jan Knight.

Raffle winners were Carol Ruetter, Carleen Howard, Bill Lawton, Jim Hensley, and Jocelyn Winkel.

Bill Lawton demonstrated how he does his Christmas cards. He used AppleWorks and also showed us how to make a card using the Avery label program we were given last month.

Meeting adjourned at 4:15.
