Serving in law enforcement for the past thirteen years, Detective
Cindy Slack was assigned to the Bureau of Criminal Investigations
with the Lake Havasu City Police Department in December of
2006.
During Detective Slack's tenure, she has worked in several
capacities within the department to include patrol, field training
instructor, advanced accident investigator, background investigator,
crimes against persons investigations, and now the sex offender
registration coordinator.
Detective Slack has completed advanced training for investigating
sexually motivated crimes against persons, child abuse, sexual
trauma, offender characteristics and typologies, crime scene
management, medical death investigation, domestic related homicide,
and child homicide. In addition, Detective Slack has
completed advanced training in the field of forensic interviewing
and for interviewing sexual deviants, criminal suspects, victims,
and witnesses.
Detective Slack maintains a close working relationship with
the Arizona Department of Child Protective Services, and the
H.A.V.E.N. family resource center.
Detective Slack is committed to the successful investigation,
apprehension, and prosecution of criminal offenders.
Detective Slack welcomes any information citizens have to offer
