Serving in law enforcement for the past twelve years, Detective Clint Campbell is assigned to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation with the Lake Havasu City Police Department. During the first three years of his law enforcement career he was employed as a corrections officer for the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department, then joining the Lake Havasu City Police Department in June of 2000.

During Detective Campbell’s tenure, he has worked in several capacities within the department to include patrol, field training instructor, emergency services dispatcher, advanced accident investigator, school resource officer, background investigator, property crimes detective, sex crimes detective, and offender registration coordinator.

Detective Campbell has completed advanced training for investigating sexually motivated crimes against persons, child abuse, sexual trauma, offender characteristics and typologies, crime scene management, medical death investigation, domestic related homicide, and child homicide. In addition, Detective Campbell is recognized as an expert in the field of forensic interviewing, and has completed advanced training for interviewing sexual deviants, criminal suspects, victims, and witnesses.

Detective Campbell serves on numerous boards and committees committed to both the health and safety of children, and the investigation of crimes committed against children.

Detective Campbell’s commitment to victims of crime and crisis is well recognized throughout Mohave County.

Detective Campbell has received extensive training in providing victim services, and maintains a close working relationship with the Arizona Department of Child Protective Services, and the H.A.V.E.N. family resource center.

In 2004, Detective Campbell was honored as “police officer of the year” by the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars, and in 2007, the offender registration program lead by Detective Campbell was recognized and published nationally by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, (I.A.C.P.)

Detective Campbell is committed to the successful investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of criminal offenders.

Detective Campbell welcomes any information citizens have to offer regarding unlawful activity or tips on offenders residing in the community.
